Impregnation

process of introducing a liquid medium into porous materials (such as wood, textiles, paper, leather, concrete or felt) to make the material, for example, water-repellent, oil-resistant, fire-retardant or mechanically more stable.

At HP FOAM, we use our equipment to manufacture activated carbon foams, acrylate impregnations, and silicone foams.
