PU foam sound insulation for the automotive industry.

For car buyers, three factors play a key role when it comes to the engine: driving performance, fuel economy and the noise transmitted from the engine into the passenger compartment. To ensure that engine noise stays where it won't disturb the vehicle's passengers, we at HP FOAM manufacture acoustic insulation materials for the engine compartment using various types of PU foam.

We process the polyurethane soft foam in several steps to make it ready for installation. Through a combination of punching, horizontal and vertical cutting, followed by thermal forming, we create custom-made acoustic insulation components for the respective engine compartment, whether for passenger cars or commercial vehicles.

If needed, the product can also be equipped with a self-adhesive backing. A water-repellent surface is also available upon request, as we at HP FOAM have a wide range of materials and processing techniques at our disposal.
